Predictable ResultsIn an effort to right-size production and adapt quickly to shifting customer demands, Ford Motor Company is closing down some assembly plants and retrofitted others with “flexible manufacturing” assembly lines in the United States and Canada. This strategy will enable the 100 year old automaker to produce different types of vehicles on common assembly lines.
Inland had the experience, knowledge, and capabilities to perform the environmental cleaning and system readiness components for these complex and time constricted projects; safely and reliably. In the past two years, Inland has prepared six (6) automotive assembly plants for demolition or retrofit.
Over the past three years, Inland has worked with Ford consultants to prepare and develop detailed specification and requirements for decommissioning and cleaning automotive assembly plants. Inland has drawn upon its extensive automotive experience to develop the methodology for effectively cleaning paint systems, fluid handling, industrial waste and wastewater processes.

Six projects were completed by Inland including Ford St. Louis (Missouri), Ford Atlanta (Georgia), Ford Wixom and Michigan Truck (Michigan), Ford Norfolk (Virginia), and Ford Oakville (Ontario, Canada).
