Flash Fire Burns One Acid Unit, IISG Cleans Up with Zero Recordables
In an effort to re-size US production to meet customer demand, Ford Motor Company has ceased production at numerous automotive assembly plants in the United States and Canada. In Ford’s efforts to trim cost, “flexible manufacturing” assembly lines are being retrofitted into existing assembly plants allowing the 100 year old automaker to produce different types of vehicles on a common assembly line under one roof.
IISG had the experience, knowledge, and capabilities to perform the environmental cleaning and system readiness components for these complex and time constricted projects; safely and reliably. In the past two years, IISG has prepared six (6) automotive assembly plants for demolition or retrofit.

This well-established, proven technology involves introducing specific chemicals into the paint sludge recirculation system to detackify paint over spray. Additional chemicals can be used to separate paint solids from the water so that clean water is returned to the spray booth, reducing paint deposition in the paint spray booth.
IISG offers multiple chemistry packages to most effectively treat and meet each individual customer's needs. Each chemistry package can be adjusted to accommodate the paint chemistry, regardless of whether a floating or sinking system is desired, as well as the physical requirements of each individual system.
In addition to the multiple Detackification packages, IISG also offers the choice of Dispersion or EPOC chemistry.
